Week 10: My Current Progress

During this week's consultation, we continued our discussion and reviewed the current status of our work. I shared with Andreas my plans for the future, outlining the intentions and timeline I have set for the upcoming weeks. I acknowledged a recent slowdown in my progress, and despite being fully aware of the need for more proactive efforts, I haven't taken significant steps to address this situation.

There will alos be a class presentation on our dissertation that we are briefed on to prepare. When crafting out the outline of my presentation deck, I realised not much has changed since our first research presentation. Which I feel is good but also bad. The good aspect is that I have not changed my mind and is still focused on the intention of the pillars O have chosen. The bad part is that I ahve still not narrowed down my research and streamlining it.I have a lot of catching-up to do~

Moving Forward

I need to continue in building my experiments. I am lacking behind in terms of that and the skils that I need to improve on in using P5.js. It'll be great to start working on achievable goals, step by steo as I feel my head is usually jumping to visualise the end product. I need to craft put carefully what I should plan to do and the objective of my experiments.

It's crucial for me to strike a balance between experiment building and skill enhancement. As I progress, I will regularly assess my proficiency in P5.js and adjust my learning strategies accordingly. This proactive approach will not only propel the development of my experiments but also empower me with the technical skills needed to navigate and innovate within the realm of P5.js effectively.

During this period, with my own project I feel like I lack a direction and brief. In my head I feel ambitious which is not a bad thing but I do need to consider the number of steps I have to take to get there. It was pointed out to me that I usually think of getting to the end result and skip the many steps I need to get there. With that in mind, I made sure to write down my points and direction to achieve that end result.
